Remote control the on off switch of a pc with a cell phone?

Ok so here is the deal, i got a bunch of old phones left and instead of donating this the garbage i would like to do something fun and semi-usefull with them, so i came up with this;

I would like to use a phone to put my pc on and off; i was thinking if i would use the voltage used by the vibrating function of the phone, put a transistor on it to get the right voltage, and connect this to the power switch, i can just call the phone, wich would than vibrate, change voltage trough the transistor and turn my pc on..

Now ofcourse id have to make sure i only let it ring once, and than hang up other wise, the pc would automatically turn on and than off ( due to keeping the power on button in for a long time) and so on..

My question.. i have no idea what part of a phone runs the little engine that makes it vibrate.. i have no idea what kinda voltage is used to turn on the pc...

Anyone who can help me find this out?

Btw if this works.. ill make a youtube vid, of how to build and post the link so you all can try..

Thanks in advance,

Marc
