I don't think the laptop has USB 3.0 and that is a bit of a concern for me. I mean, I don't plan to replace this computer for a while, and if the technology is out there already, I'm pretty sure more and more devices will make use of it soon enough to the point where USB 3.0 will become standard.
I was also reading about SATA III, and I have no idea if this laptop makes use of that hard drive technology or if it's even worth it to get it.
What do you guys think?
How good is this specific i7 processor? It has a 1.6 ghz standard clock-speed. I know that with the turbo ability, it can increase to up to 2.8 ghz, but I'm still skeptical. My old HP had a Intel Core Duo with 1.83 ghz and it was amazing for the duration of its life; will this processor be even more awesome?
What do you think of this Sony Vaio?

Ohhhh, almost forgot! How good is that video card? I was reading about it, and I couldn't find anything about the 512 ram being dedicated. Also, the video card itself doesn't seem top of the line or anywhere close since I've been seeing a lot of video cards with at least 1 gig dedicated ram. How good of a video card is it really? The sonystyle.com website didn't give me a choice to change it/upgrade it. =(

The laptops is good for multimedia but it'll struggle in the gaming department. Sony is not a big gaming laptop manufacturer, so they won't upgrade the GPU.
I suggest you visit xoticpc.com. They specialize in multimedia and extreme gaming notebooks from unknown but consitantly top ranked manufacturers such as Asus, MSI, Sager, and Force. Their quality is unmatched and you'll find a plethora of better notebooks in your price range.
As for the CPU, the 720QM is beastly. With hyperthreading and an the Core series' insane overclock, you'll see little to no strain.What do you guys think of this laptop? Other suggestions? Please answer!?

1. add a time schedule.
2. remove its gateway from its WAN
3. add a block all ports based on MAC Address .

My live in boyfriend and father of my baby treats me wonderfully,but I discovered he's been lying alot the whole time I've been with him. It seems he's been possibly cheating on me with at least one girl and maybe several guys. I got mad, I got calm, I got soothing, I've tried everything to get him to open up but he has denied, denied, denied even when I presented him with very clear evidence and then I just got extremely vague and contradicted himself alot. I can't even get him to admit that hypothetically doing a dude would in future tense be 'CHEATING'. I am not really interested in seeing anyone else, one reason is because he completely satisfies me in a way I never imagined was possible. He keeps hinting and wanting to talk about us getting married. I just don't seem to know how to get him to quit changing the subject off of what I see as a serious roadblock. Seriously, if we can't get the communication flowing about this bs in the here and now, I can't see how we could survive the future. I'm not prejudice, or even that angery at him any more, I'm getting BORED!!! I mean I'm not a professional shrink. The way I see it we're either in it together or not. The first one is writing about your day and stuff that you feel. The second one is to write down any little positive thing that happened to you during that day. So even if it is small and not important to someone else, you can still focus on the little happy things that have happened.
I used to feel that way because there was something in my life I felt I couldn't change. But you can always change your life, while you're still alive.

It can change if you find someone who thinks positive and may redirect your negative energy to something productive. You can only wait and watch.
Meanwhile, try doing yoga and meditate. This will bring calm and serene thoughts and may help a little.
Get a journal and write how you feel down, and once you have written it all down, burn the page or pages.

I sort of have the same problem as you although less harsh, I personally have to get drunk to even be nice sometimes because I'm not a naturally kind individual and am very distant and hard to talk too. Therapists don't work nor do Psychiatrists so don't waste your money on them like I did... Antidepressents tend to make you feel more like a robot than a human and literally block out your emotions as well.
The two ';cures'; I have found are either Opiates ';pills that make you feel VERY happy and enjoy life'; or a little Alcohol to make me more likeable and talkative, anyways if neither of those remedies apply to you good luck!

I sort of have the same problem as you although less harsh, I personally have to get drunk to even be nice sometimes because I'm not a naturally kind individual and am very distant and hard to talk too. Therapists don't work nor do Psychiatrists so don't waste your money on them like I did... Antidepressents tend to make you feel more like a robot than a human and literally block out your emotions as well.
The two ';cures'; I have found are either Opiates ';pills that make you feel VERY happy and enjoy life'; or a little Alcohol to make me more likeable and talkative, anyways if neither of those remedies apply to you good luck!

Since the first day of high school, i met this amazing girl and it took me a couple years to convince her to go out with me. Since then we have been together for 2 years and things couldn't have gone better. She is my first and only love and I really can't live without her. About a week ago she told me she desperately needed a break from ';us'; and that she just needed a little time.

I am scared/unwilling to lose weight.... i am gaining weight too fast?
I think i have a fear of trying to lose weight. I am 6'0 at 162 pounds.... I have severely increased in weight over the past year due to;
1) Starting a business (full time 40hrs +)
2) Balancing uni studies (full time 30hrs + )
3) Having a bf that tells me that i am beautiful all the time
4) Stress in family (new brother - premature)
5) Almost going bankrupt due to business
Anyway.... yuk i hate victimizing myself - but i do feel like food was the only thing that makes me more stable ie junk. I want to do something about my weight!

You need to go easy on yourself as it sounds like you're under a lot of stress. Exercise will help the stress and to lose weight so it is a good place to start. Even if you just add a 10 minute walk into your day, or slowly increase the amount of exercise you do this will help.

Virtually all communities these days have community mental health resources. And you don't have to be full-blown crazy to use them. I'd call the mayor's office (or equivalent) and ask about what's available at no or low cost, and go there. That will give you continuing help, which is what you need, not a one-shot response on the Web.

Do this several times. Also try flexing your buttock muscles as well. In fact there are many muscles in our body that we can twitch and flex without inviting the attention of others. Even if others do notice you, it檚 no big deal provided you are flexing a muscle in a decent part of the body. (Most of the other parts do not have muscles any way.) Others might brand you as a health freak but it is miles better to be known as a heath freak than as a sack of potatoes.

How can I tell if I'm going to get dry sockets?
I had a tooth pulled today and I knew that I shouldn't smoke or drink through a straw but I wasn't told not to spit. About an hour after I had the tooth pulled I was still bleeding and I would spit when I changed the gauze. Is there anyway I can tell if I'm going to get a dry socket before the pain starts? How can I tell if its healing right? Its the top very back tooth on my left side... kind of hard to see.How can I tell if I'm going to get dry sockets?

First you have to turn the water off (valve behind toilet below tank or whole house if necessary) then unscrew the supply line (have a small bucket ready some water will drip) then remove the two nuts that secure the toilet to the floor. Remove as much water from the inside of the toilet as you can (flush it, hold handle until tank is empty, then remove water from bowl with a paper cup). Lift toilet straight up to remove it. Clean the floor flange, replace the wax seal and toilet bolts and replace the toilet (sit on it to squish wax seal down) secure toilet bolts (not too tight or bowl will crack). My husband and I have tried off and on for about 1 1/2. This past december I finally got a Dr. to listen to me and got on a cycle of provera and then Clomid. Well nothing happened, and things in our life started to change (a job change and move) so we put TTC on hold until we were settled. Well he wants to start trying again, and I do too, but I remember how heartbreaking it was to take all those tests and drugs, and ultrasounds and hear ';everything looks great, no PCOS, no endometriosis, just irregular periods'; from the doctors. I have tried to relax and just let nature take it's course, but as many of you are well aware of that's hard! Any tips, or words of encouragement, as we jump back into this. I know it sucks to go through the waiting and the disappointment. I also know that it sucks to have people say things like, ';it will be your turn soon enough'; or ';when its supposed to happen, it will.'; But you have to have faith and patience. It will happen. Just make things as easy as possible on yourselves. Chart your BBT's, use an OPK and it might not be a bad thing to go get another work up for both you and your husband so you have everything recorded. I gave up a few months ago bc it seemed everyone around me got pregnant but not me. The best and safest passwords are a mixture of random letters and numbers that have no meaning. Make sure you write down your new password and keep it somewhere where no one else will think of looking, ie not your school things.

I really hate that! You can do one of two things. You can have your phone company change your number, ask them to try to give you a new number that hasn't been used or has been out of circulation for at least 2 years. They should do this for free.
Or start taking names of these companies, ask to speak to a supervisor and tell them that they need to take this number off their list as a contact for the person. Tell them this is your new phone and if they call again you're going to report them for harassment which is a federal offense, you have both persons names and company that they work for you will make formal complaint. This usually works.
Letting calls ring through to your voicemail, as seems to be the habit today, does nothing to stop people from calling you even though they're looking for someone else. They're just calling a number.
YOU have to answer the call and tell them they have the wrong number.
At least that's how phones have always worked, anyway.

Currently I am a student who is about to start his second year of college.
Today at the theater I met an Iranian kid who was in my high school class. He graduated a B student, was always picked on for being nerdy and a bit fat, was hairy and had bushy eyebrows, never even got a girlfriend. Met him today and wow, he changed completely, he grew about 3 inches (went from 5';8 to 5';11), his eyebrows were not so bushy, he lost a lot of weight and got fit, still had a bit of hairy arms and he had a girlfriend (told me she was Venezuelan).
The guy who graduate valedictorian at my high school ended up flunking out of MIT and is now depressed. The person who won ';most attractive'; has put on 20 lbs already and she is always frustrated (as seen on her facebook status).
Anyways, did any of you in here see something similar happen? (I am more mature, a lot more mature then I was in high school)Do you get surprised by how much things just change after high school?

As for girls, we mature earlier, so I just expect that we are pretty much the same. Everyone has ups and downs in life. So someone you meet from the past randomly, might have followed an opportunity. It didn't pan out; but then, they just try something else. So, most likely, when you see that person again, they will be on the up part of the cycle. Hopefully, there aren't too many who take the low road and stay there.

Definitely change the water pump along with the timing belt. There is very little extra labor, and you don't want it to start leaking (requiring having to do the whole job again) before the next timing belt change, or, even worse, to seize and ruin the belt and your engine. My husband and I have tried off and on for about 1 1/2. This past december I finally got a Dr. to listen to me and got on a cycle of provera and then Clomid. Well nothing happened, and things in our life started to change (a job change and move) so we put TTC on hold until we were settled. Well he wants to start trying again, and I do too, but I remember how heartbreaking it was to take all those tests and drugs, and ultrasounds and hear ';everything looks great, no PCOS, no endometriosis, just irregular periods'; from the doctors. I have tried to relax and just let nature take it's course, but as many of you are well aware of that's hard! Any tips, or words of encouragement, as we jump back into this. I know it sucks to go through the waiting and the disappointment. I also know that it sucks to have people say things like, ';it will be your turn soon enough'; or ';when its supposed to happen, it will.'; But you have to have faith and patience. It will happen. Just make things as easy as possible on yourselves. Chart your BBT's, use an OPK and it might not be a bad thing to go get another work up for both you and your husband so you have everything recorded. I gave up a few months ago bc it seemed everyone around me got pregnant but not me. My husband really wants to start a family so I feel like I cant give up because he still believes in us and I say the same to you! It will happen just keep on trying and praying girl! Lots of baby dust to us both! i know having to wait because when you are ready for a baby you are ready YESTERDAY. If you have irregular periods i would try to get on birth control to regulate them then stop taking it and have sex because then you know that you will be ovulating hope this helps girl

i would recomend using a clear blue fertility monitor. my 1st baby was concieved thru ivf after many years ttc naturaly, then 11 wks after he was born i got pregnant naturaly with my second. im now re marrying and have been ttc #3 over 2 and a half years now, i know it will happen as i learnt from my other 2, babys come along just when you least expect it! baby dust to you x
