(and i cant find the option to change the SATA to IDE on the BIOS) thnx in advance for the help.... :DHow to format my HP mini 110 to windows xp? (i always get a BSOD when set-up comes)?
a mini shouldn't have multiple drives so changing from sata to ide shouldn't be an option....
also, format is only the disc file structure, has nothing to do w/ what os you install...
learning alittle about computers will help you immensly. How to format my HP mini 110 to windows xp? (i always get a BSOD when set-up comes)?
You can not change the hard drive from SATA to IDE as the pin connections are not the same on the mother board.
To install or re install Windows XP Starter on the mini you need to order the original system recovery disc or flash drive by model and serial number from the manufacturer customer support website.
The recovery will have all the correct drivers, utilities and operating system on them for the lap top.
The easiest and fastest way to solve this problem is to run a registry cleaner software. A registry cleaner can eliminate errors in your record. This record stores all information about the software, drivers, applications and games that are installed on your computer. And in time, it can get bad, because some obsolete entries are not deleted and can lead to what they call the ';blue screen of death.';By using a registry cleaner http://best-way-to-improve-pc-performanc the blue screen error can be eradicated and increases the speed of your computer in the process. In addition, the blue screen of death will not happen if you regularly check and care for your computer system.
