I'm not looking to have one. I'm glad to be a man. Its just a random question that I'm curious about.How much does it cost to get a sex change?
What you call sex change is an error in teminology. It is gender transition. It goes both ways also.

A Male to Female can expect to shell out $80K plus overall.

A Female to Male can top that easily in the $100K range.

However that is not the only cost involved.

Consider:

Loss of Job due to discrimination.

Loss of family due to bigotry and ignorance.

Loss of home, belongings, pets, cars etc.

Loss of civil rights. Yes we do not have any whatsoever exceept in a few islolated but progressive places.

We can have denial of medical care and insurance.

We can be beaten and even killed and the law looks the other way.
