I have been having concentration issues since i was very little. Even my 1st grade teacher thought i should be tested because i would wonder around the room in the middle of class. then later my 3rd grade teacher said something, then later my 4th. Now I am 16 in high school and I am in a program for kids with adhd even though I dont officially have it. My parents think I have a ';discipline'; problem and thats why i cant sit still, talk to much, get bad grades, and cant concentrate. I dont know how to change their minds because I'm tired of not being normal. Advice would be great!!I think I have ADHD but my parents refuse to take me to get tested?
My god your parents are dumb. Show them the signs and symptoms. And tell them you really think you have it. If all else fails see if you can go and get tested alone.I think I have ADHD but my parents refuse to take me to get tested?
