I have always noticed my HR becomes significantly lower after a certain time at night and gradually rises from early morning on, typically highest during the day, is this true for everyone? When is it best the get the average HR or the resting HR?
Thanks. How does the heart rate change from early morning, day, to night?
Your body functions according to your circadian rhythm, that is your brain has a biological clock which influences the endocrine system at particular times. In the morning as from 3 a.m stress hormones are released in your blood circulation to wake the body, therefore your hear beat, Blood pressure, sweating, increases, the same happens to a lesser extent in the afternoon. At night these hormones are at the lowest, unless you are watching an exciting film.. You should check your blood pressure and consult a doctor to make sure you do not have any underlying disease that can otherwise cause these symptoms..
